Note the RealFeel index with the windchill. 9 degrees. IT’S STILL AUGUST.
At least it will warm up a bit.

Sounds like some beautiful weather! I cannot wait for it to be in the 40s again, I will not miss the 100+ degree days. I think my favorite weather is 45 degrees, overcast, and a slight breeze. No rain though, rain sucks. Haha 9 degrees in August sounds crazy to me though for sure! I need to go live in Canadia, I feel like I would enjoy that.

I may be Canadian, but I hate the cold. And I live just short of the igloos.

I don’t know about that “Real Feel.” I mean, I’m familiar with 9 degrees. It bites, and you don’t want to drive without gloves, at least not until the car is warm. Snow is crunchy at 9 degrees. You wear a hat even to go for a short walk. You can’t drink a beer outside because it will freeze. Not just to your face, but the beer itself will freeze.
33 on the other hand, it’s cold and all... but I fail to see how any amount of wind and/or freezing precipitation could make it really feel like 9. Come on, Accuweather.
Or does it really feel like 9 to you right now? Either way, 33 is chilly for August, even up where you are.

You would think this time of the year would be a bit warmer though. Is this normal for August?

Given the scores of days we have had in SC with 100 degree or more heat indexes, accompanied by humidity over 65%, I'll take your weather.

In the wind, I am very much agreeing with 9 degrees . Thankfully I am inside and warm. Welcome to Northern Alberta.

I’d probably die within hours. I’ve adapted to my environment ( large amounts of insulating fat).

I dare you to come stand outside and say that. The breeze outside will freeze the balls off a brass monkey.
Edit. Come here I mean.

If I was up there, at least I could cook something
